WN7 FEST 2026
What a festival. WN7 FEST 2026 sold out, packed Leigh Miners Welfare with families from across Greater Manchester, and gave us a day none of us will forget. Here's a look back at the music, the crowd, the food and the atmosphere — and how you can join us in 2027.
The Day Leigh Came Together
There are festivals you go to, and then there are the ones that feel like they belong to a town. WN7 FEST 2026 was firmly the second kind. When the gates opened at Leigh Miners Welfare and the field began to fill, you could feel it straight away — this was going to be a special one. By early afternoon the place was full to the brim, the sun was out, and the unmistakable hum of a sold-out crowd settled over the grass.
And it really was sold out — every last ticket gone. Families came from Leigh, Wigan, Warrington, Bolton and right across the North West, and what struck everyone was the mix of ages all sharing the same field. Grandparents in deck chairs, parents with picnic blankets, teenagers gathered by the stage and little ones charging about with ice creams melting faster than they could eat them. It was loud, it was joyful, and it was unmistakably a community festival in the best sense of the word.
That community spirit is something we've always cared about, and 2026 showed it off at its very best. Strangers became neighbours for the day, people shared blankets and bar rounds, and the friendly, safe atmosphere meant parents could actually relax and let the children roam. You can read more about how the festival came to be on our about page, but the short version is simple — we set out to give Leigh a proper day out, and in 2026 the town turned up in numbers and made it their own.

The 2026 Lineup
The main stage in 2026 was a wall-to-wall celebration of some of the biggest names in music — delivered by tribute acts who had the whole field singing back every word. From the opening chords to the final encore, there was barely a quiet moment. Here's who took to the stage and lit up the day.

Ultimate Queen
Queen tribute
opened the field up with the kind of stadium-sized singalong only Freddie's back catalogue can deliver — arms aloft for every chorus.

Forever Oasis
Oasis tribute
had the whole crowd bouncing through the anthems — a proper Manchester moment with thousands of voices behind every line.

The Robbie Williams Tribute
Robbie Williams tribute
brought the swagger and the showmanship, turning the main stage into one big party from the very first number.

The ABBA Tribute
ABBA tribute
got every generation dancing together — grandparents, parents and little ones all twirling in the afternoon sun.

The Ed Sheeran Tribute
Ed Sheeran tribute
softened the pace beautifully with those familiar, heartfelt songs that had families swaying together on the grass.

The Michael Jackson Tribute
Michael Jackson tribute
closed things out with the moves, the hits and a spectacle that left the field buzzing well after the last note.
Six acts, one unforgettable afternoon. If that's whetted your appetite, our lineup page has the latest on who's joining us next time around.
The Street Food Village
No great day out is complete without great food, and the 2026 street food village more than delivered. The smell of low-and-slow barbecue drifted across the field, queues for fresh pizza and churros snaked happily into the afternoon, and there wasn't a fussy young eater in Leigh who couldn't find something to love. From proper savoury feeds to sweet treats and ice creams, the line-up of independent traders gave the whole site a warm, bustling, market-day feel.
Here's who fed the crowd in 2026:
- Smoke on Dees
- Greek Food Truck
- Salt and Pepper Chicken
- Pizza Milan
- Burgers and Hotdogs
- Mrs Potato Head UK
- Sweet Truck
- Doughnut and Waffle
- Churro Van
- Debbie's Brownies
- Charlie's Ice Cream
A heartfelt thank you to every one of them — Smoke on Dees, the Greek Food Truck, Salt and Pepper Chicken, Pizza Milan and the rest. Independent traders like these are the heartbeat of a community festival, and they helped make 2026 the day it was.
